Centrino Hardware Control gibt es ein Programm, das folgende Features zusammenfasst:
Zitat:
The main features are:
CPU Speed control (CPU policy)
Max. performance
Keeps the CPU at maximum speed
(i.e. a Intel Pentium Dothan 1600MHz runs at 1600MHz continuously)
Battery optimized
Keeps the CPU at the minimum speed
(i.e. a Intel Pentium Dothan 1600MHz runs at 600MHz continuously)
Max. battery
Keeps the CPU at the minimum speed and allows further throttling depending on remaining battery power
Dynamic switching
Switches between the minimum and maximum speed according to current CPU utilization (i.e. a Intel Pentium Dothan 1600MHz switches automatically between 600MHz and 1600MHz)
Custom dynamic switching
Custom dynamic switching allows you to change easily the default dynamic switching behavior of your CPU. The possibility of changing the minimum and maximum multiplier and changing the minimum and maximum CPU load vales gives you full control over the CPU dynamic switching steps. Custom dynamic switching also doesn't have short Voltage drops like on default dynamic switching.
CPU Voltage Control
With CPU Voltage Control you can change the default CPU Voltages to reduce heat dissipation, power consumption and prolong the battery lifetime up to 30%. When you set new Voltage, Centrino Hardware Control will make a short CPU stability check to test, if the CPU is stable on this Voltage. If the CPU Voltage is to low, the System can stop responding and you have to restart the Computer. But this is only a short CPU stability check. For a full CPU stability check use programs like Hot CPU Tester Pro or Prime 95.
Voltage examples
Clock regulation with Multiplier #1
If you need a custom CPU clock you can use Clock regulation with Multiplier #1. The Program will then always set the Multiplier #1 and Voltage #1 independent from other settings. Example: You can use Clock regulation to check if a custom Voltage #1 is stable on given Multiplier #1.
ATI Clock Control
To set the core and memory clock of your ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 you can use ATI Clock Control. It allows you to set the ATI's max. specified core and memory clock for more performance, to overclock for maximum performance or to clock down to reduce heat dissipation, power consumption and prolong the battery lifetime.
Notebook FAN Control
With Notebook FAN Control you can change the turn ON and OFF temperatures of the CPU FAN to have a more silent notebook. At the time Notebook FAN Control is compatible with Samsung P35, 30; ASUS M2N, some M6N and other Notebook with similar hardware.
Hard Drive control
With Centrino Hardware Control you can change the Hard Drive Power Management (spin down and standby behavior) and Acoustic Management value to adjust the Hard Drive power consumption and noise.
Hard Drive monitoring
Centrino Hardware Control utilizes S.M.A.R.T. technology to monitor your hard drive's internal S.M.A.R.T. attributes and drive temperatures, to predict possible drive fail and prevent data loss. Centrino Hardware Control lets you know about a potential disk health problem before you lose valuable data. |
